Security and Data-Processing Review

ApexMail can help a prospective customer review the current DPA, subprocessor information, security overview, architecture material, and relevant service terms. A review does not create a certification, business-associate agreement, or contractual feature until it is explicitly approved in writing.

Implementation Considerations

  1. Confirm the intended data categories, retention requirements, and sending workflow.
  2. Review the current DPA, data-residency scope, and subprocessor information.
  3. Select a plan with the required runtime features and limits.
  4. For Scale or Enterprise, configure identity controls, audit review, and operational ownership as appropriate.
  5. Complete any security or procurement review before production use.

Important Limitations

  • HIPAA availability and BAA execution are not currently offered.
  • A DPA, data residency, or an Enterprise contract does not by itself make a customer workflow compliant with a particular law or standard.
  • Private Cloud and BYOIP are reviewed per contract; published self-service pricing does not include a private-deployment price.
